Job Description
For its Montreal office, L2G Immobilier is looking for a real estate valuation technician for the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors.
The technician will have the opportunity to work, under the supervision of an chartered appraiser, on stimulating mandates for investors and large real estate portfolios. His or her functions will be:
- Assist the chartered appraiser with inspections and physical surveys;
- Carry out research using different tools;
- Analyze deeds of sale, leases, certificates of location, easements, etc.;
- Participate in the writing of evaluation reports by applying recognized evaluation methods;
- Proceed with data entry.
Required profile
The candidate:
- Must have an interest in data, figures, the economic and real estate sector;
- Must be comfortable and motivated for teamwork;
- Must have a good knowledge of the three evaluation techniques (parity, cost and income);
- Must be a detail-oriented person; possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have good command of French and English, spoken and written
- Must have good knowledge of the Office suite; Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Must be available for travel:
- Hold a driving license and a vehicle;
- Occasionally, be able to travel outside for a few days for mandates in remote areas.
- Must be autonomous and have good analytical skills;
- Must show initiative, have good organizational skills and good team spirit.
